Glasgow`s Buses - help neededHi, I am working on a follow up to my Glasgow`s Atlanteans book. Still some stock left if anyone is interested. Anyway I am looking for photographs which you own the copyright to for my new book. Anything with an image of a GCT/GGPTE/SPTE/SBL and even some First Group bus are of interest. Naturally I am mainly after LAs, but I am also looking for a small amount of images of the other buses that were operated. I am also interested in hearing of ex drivers tales, off group naturally.Cheers, Andy |

Welcome Andy !
One of my favourite pastimes over the last year or so has been to go searching for pictures of old Glasgow Corporation Buses from the late 1950's (ie before I left Glasgow for Australia). I've found quite a few but my best sources for those pictures have actually been (and I don't know whether I should really be saying this on UG) two other Glasgow Forums in Hidden Glasgow and Glasgow Guide. As I'm looking for information on my roots I regularly visit all three sites ! Glasgow Ken might also be able to help you ! Regards, Tombro
