This nice man  stopped me in Hope Street and insisted I take his photo and especially his tee-shirt. :),  I was happy to oblige. He is in the Scottish Socialist Party... and he had been for a wee dram..so was in high spirits.  He says he has a Flickr acccount..I've had a look but can't find him...pity.

Who was playing again?

The Savoy Centre is a good place to get people shots too. Managed to sneak a few candid "at work" shots there...

tombro

Stuball,

Have you got any pics from after the game ?

After having watched highlights of the game on TV over here, I'd have thought lots of unhappy chappies and lots of fishermen hoping to put their new-found load of 'Burley' to good use !

Regards,
Tombro
Stuball

There is a few from after the game..... like the kilted, topless norwegian

Great photos Pete  Did they not see you with your camera

I am too fearful of a rant when taking photos of random people in the street but the results you and minx have displayed are excellent
LowLight

Those two guys were quite far away when I took the shots but I doubt they would have minded anyway. Most people don't even notice I'm taking pics half the time and if they do it's a half second glance and they're on their way.

Thanks Alex.
Alex Glass

Just notice the first one has a striking resemblance to Jim Callaghan

I can imagine them sitting astride a Tiger Tank.........had we not been victorious in WW2 that may have been us, a valuable lesson for those young people on here, this was the reality of war.
escotregen

and Alex, what do you think your Jim Callaghan look-a-like is doing? Maybe studying the latest credit crisis bulletins and still muttering 'crisis what crisis?'

(OK, I know... he never actually said that... it was the papers that made it up )

As for the mannequins, just what is it that the one at the back is so engrossed in... or maybe we don't want to go there?

wee minx

Hoi you....that's ma burd!
Lone Groover

Fer some strange reason the resemblance has vanished, just like the red wine last night, that's dissapeared too !
LowLight

I thought Tiger Tiger was a bit too poncy for advertising boards stuck to people.
Hugo Drax

Nah - Tiger Tiger is downmarket tat. I ate there once and never again!
LowLight

I don't think I would ever go to the place out of choice, looks like it has a high concentration of fud.

Do you think you may have just captured on film the ring leader of the pensioner gang robbing west end newsagents, plotting their next daring caper?
wee minx

Funny that...I could deffo hear him mumbling something very quietly like... "Keep drillin Jim, we'll be through to that rare set of boookmarks in no time at all...fancy a wee cuppa tea when yer done?" ....naaaa couldnae be......

Popped into the Oran Mor and had to grab my camera out of Maries bag - he was just asleep in such perfect light.
