Academy Street/Eglinton Place, ShettlestonHow about this one in Shettleston. Would have been the name of Academy Street either before the school was built or when Shettleston was a village on its own.

There may be some evidence in old maps. Will see if I can locate any information about Eglinton Place.
Don't know if the name change is recent of from when Shettleston was absorbed into Glasgow.

Its not on the Glasgow Guide list of changed street names, but it was Eglinton Place in the 1904 PO directory, and didn't show up in a search of the 1933-34 directory
