peoplesmap.com

Fills in some of the gaps in Scotland that google earth and Local Live don't yet cover. Nice use of old mapping in the layers selection

Just noticed live local has birdseye views for Glasgow now.

When'd that happen?

Look like newer images than the standard aerial shots.

Busy at work this morning    so I made this....

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/29043

A wee greasemonkey script to toggle show/hide all the clutter around the live local map window, so you can maximize the map.

It adds a wee transparent toolbar top right to toogle the show/hide, and as it hides the bookmark and print links, it has copies of them as well.

I've downloaded the script, what do I do next?

You need to be using FireFox and have greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) installed.

When ye click install script on the userscripts site above, greasemonkey should pop-up telling you it has installed it.

If that's all worked, then when ye visit the maps.live.com site you should get a toolbar top right of the site with three shoddy looking buttons on it. The  button furthest right maximizes the map area.

Like in this photo of the "T" Factory.

Working fine noo, cheers.
