Loch Longs miles away that's the road bridge between Shiel Bridge and Inverinate on Loch Duich.

And welcome to Urban Glasgow Bruce and Linda
Bruce

Sorry Fjord, but I've gotta totally disagree with you... the bridge in the photo is the one that crosses the mouth of Loch Long at Dornie; the photo was definitely taken from Eilean Donan!
wee minx

Mon Bruce...let me see the one you mean
Bruce

This is the bridge in question:

The one that (I think) Fjord is meaning might be similar, but isn't the same! Here's another view of the bridge at Dornie!

Anyway, thanks for the welcome tho Fjord!
Fjord

I stand corrected I was getting the Dornie one mixed up with the causeway further down the road. I've just learned something new about Scotland cheers Bruce

Ayee
Bruce

You're welcome Fjord... and chances are you'll get a chance to correct me at some point in the future as one thing I know for definite is that I'm not always right (just most of the time!    )
wee minx

Now, there is an idea your wee error  brought to mind there Fjord.....a "where's this?" thread in here.  Someone posts a pic and it's guessing time

Could be fun... wish I'd thought of it! Oh wait... it is fun, but I still wish I'd thought of it!

ye know you did , don't think I could do the clever kind you have though...I'll have to stick to still images.  And no doubt I'll need correcting loads.  My geography is hopeless    am away to find a piccie now.......
Bruce

wee minx, I didn't think of the idea originally... it was part of the old Undiscovered Scotland forum that I was a member of a few years ago; I just adopted the idea on my forum* when it was suggested by one of the members there (who also happened to be on the Undiscovered Scotland forum!)

* No doubt Linda will have something to say about that!
