Ok guys...Looking for any advice that can help me find original plans of any Glasgow victorian buildings (internals mostly) before they were sold off/ renovated for alternative use etc.
I have a project in mind, so would like any help you can offer.

Alex Glass

The Planning Department will have all the original plans for buildings but they may only have kept those buildings that are listed or of particular interest.

I think the plans may be held in the Mitchell Library.

It may be possible to view individual plans in the Mitchell but would be very costly if you are looking for copies.

Last year I was in the Mitchell and ordered copies of the plans for Hyndland Secondary School. Four large sheets cost about 12 I think

Great info alex. I will pay a visit to the mitchell... Forum Index -> Glasgow From The Past
