And the parking issue .. there's plenty of parking space withing 1 or 2 hundred yards guys. Crow Road and Morrisons Car Park come to mind.

An inventive use for a building that would surely have been flattened and replaced with a flower bed otherwise

I suppose the chocolate brownies wouldn't be advisable either !

And definitely do not order a side dish of sweetcorn.  Also forget nibbling on those free peanuts at the bar!!

the stone cleaning is kinda harsh, they ground the surface with grinders and its looking bleached now. Its sure to get dirty very quick too surrounded by endless traffic. Re-use of the building is of course good, but the stone cleaning is an unnecessary cosmetic step, and the grinding method is not good, it greatly accelerates the stone decay as the 'dirty' top layer now removed actually worked as a protective layer. Now removed, the softer stone underneath is exposed and usually deteriorates quickly in a case such as this.
Already there are large areas of efflorescence where the mineral salts are now flushing out the stone as a result of this aggressive cleaning. Short term the owner may think they're doing the building a service, in the long term this sort of cleaning causes untold damage.
