Fjord

In Norway it's snows for almost 8 months of the year. So far we've have had nearly a meter of it this week in Lesjaskog with more to come this weekend.
But sometimes we get some snow here in Glasgow like last time I was over here

Fjord

You might recognise these bit's of the City in the snow

Alex Glass

I love the snow.

The photos are great guys
Chief Inspector

Great photos Fjord can't wait for the snow now
Stuball

I posted this selection of pictures from a previous heavy storm on a thread in the Random Rubbish section regarding the predictions for this winter... so thought I'd copy them over...

Alex Glass

Lovely pictures Stu

Can't wait for some decent snow.
Stuball

Cheers Alex :)

Just thought about the couple of pictures of the Clyde Arc/Finnieston Bridge/Squinty bridge under construction and covered heavily in snow.... they are quite possibly totally unique and nothing similar will ever be like them
Alex Glass

Unique time piece Stu. They are brilliant.

I don't have any good snow photos so really appreciate those posted here.
Stuball

Well hopefully we get a sizeable snow flurry this year... armed with a better camera than the previous snow pics, I'll be out in it all day. Only stopping for the occasional heatup or battery charge

Early hours of Monday morning, there was a very brief blast of sleet/hail that only last seconds before normal rain resumed.... I got the camera to the front door as soon as possible...

Was pretty heavy out at motherwell this morning on the way in on my train, also heavy at larkhall about 0730, after we left motherwell seemed to die off for a bit in the west.

About half an hour ago (the sun is out now...)

Footprints in the snow

The snow the other day. Also I've got a pic of the same street the day after in glorious sunshine. I don't think I'll ever get used to Glasgow's weather.

Simply stunning image of the weather in Newton Place...
Set off by the period feel of the street lamps ... MAGIC !
KJ

Cheers cybers. I really love those street lamps. If only the van wasn't there and the clydesdale bank sign was obscured I think the effect would have been enhanced.

It's a permanent quagmire round there, the ground never dries out. I feel like going up and clearing all that stuff off the grave, it's a damn shame it's been left to get into that state
Alex Glass

I know it is late for this but I took these on my BlackBerry and only recently downloaded them to my computer.
