Hi Glesgakiss, how far back is the record that shows Rutherford Lane?
I have checked a couple of old maps and like you I cant find it, if I had the year, I can ask a contact who may know where it was
norrie

Hi Glesgakiss, Ok here is what your looking  for
Rutherford Lane ran from 145 Renfield st to 252 Hope st, it ran between Renfrew st and Cowcaddens rd
In the lane  was an ice factory G. T Sawyers that was in 1899 and a Stable , 1886, the lane was there until 1948.

Hope thats a help to you

Hi Cybers, good find and it would appear it was there in 1968
For the life of me I can remember it, I must have passed it many times

Hi Norrie, I think you picked me up wrong. Rutherford Lane was shown in my Kelly's Directory of 1948, and was in existence beyond that date.
