Can you still buy them cartridges I thought it was Stanton all the way these days?

Off topic: I foolishly sold a top end Technics deck to a mate for £20 only to realise it was worth a good £200+  :-/

My Vinyl's just collecting dust in cupboard as nobody's into gate fold rock albums nowadays. Although they make a unique and interesting birthday present when professional framed

I have a stanton turntable with technics cartridge collecting dust... it's not even connected now

If the deck was a Technics 1200/1210 then yes, you was robbed. Stanton cartridges
are strictly DJ material, a proper vinyl aficionado wouldn't sully his deck with such
an item. Too many hi-fi carts still available to mention.

Interestingly, the Technics deck whilst principally a DJ-ing deck (hence it's bombproof
construction) can be turned into a very decent "proper" deck by adding an hifi
arm such as the Rega RB250, the silver one in my picture on the previous page.
Sadly, it requires a custom made adapter plate which will set you back about
£60, and the RB250 would cost you about £80 second hand. The arm can be
supercharged as mine has been, and it's well worth it.

Pic of a Technics 1200 with a stripped & polished RB250 here.

Not at all... It's a direct drive Stanton turntable similar to this one but possibly not the exact same model

The cartridge was surplus from when I replaced a clubs with a pair of stanton trackmaster II's

How on earth did Zol manage that?

There are desaturated rocks and stuff in amongst the leaves on the deck.

It must have taken bastard ages .. or there's a trick I'm missing.

Bloody super work whatever the route to completion though .. well jealous, me.
