Serious question

Can a cat have cystic fybrosis ?

The reason is we have just found out our cat loves to be vigoursly patted on the back....(don't ask how we found out ).......

He seems to breathe very sharply but loves being hit a lot like you would encourage a cystic fybrosis kid.....

Is this normal with a cat ?

Might just be a pussy wae a fetish

MY dug likes to be patted quite rough then strolls oot into the garden and coughs up furballs couldd be just loosening phlegm.

Fastnet...this is very serious indeed. By doing this your cat makes it's body go stiff and ridged the tail will be upright and a smile will appear on the cat's face. I would urge you too refrain from using your one eyed Sooty puppet whilst carrying out this maneuver otherwise the pussy will think your a perv. I hope this was helpful for you mate.

I also have a cat which loves to be roughly clapped, if i stop she meow's till i start again, i also have one who likes this in short bursts (on her terms), and one who would take the face off you if you tried it on her.

So i would say this is normal for most cats.

Further to my posting previously about my daughter heading off to Korea .. she's under the impression that overseas employment visas can only be gained by applying to London for same.

Is this correct, or is there not somewhere closer to home she can go to make the applications etc?

Brother in law used to get his one for the Philippines at the Embasst in Edinburgh which was actually a furniture store... Still is in fact.

Tried Google for Korean Embassy but no luck on Scottish front so your daughter may well be right.

No bother mate .. I had much the same luck myself, I just thought I may have been missing something.

Cheers.

Is she still studying in Germany?

Is the embassy in Germany more convenient?

No mate, she finished her Degree .. Now an Ma in Digital Art.

She's looking at taking 18 months out teaching English as a foreign language to Primary School kids in South Korea.

Some deal actually .. flights out paid for (flights back covered too, on completion of contract), 4 star studio accommodation for free and 4.5 million Won a month (around 2 and a half grand sterling) a month.

Great opportunity, especially when there's fcuk all work here.

Noticed more and more strange cameras appearing over glasgow on the approach to the city and was wondering if anyone had any ideas what they were.

http://g.co/maps/zzmyb on top of the traffic lights in the picture.

It does not look like a red light camera and seems fixed in one position and its not the only one to have appeared over recent weeks.

My natural suspicion of my surroundings made it stand out like a sore thumb and my curiosity to what it is is solely selfish in that i don't want to fall foul of some top secret police state camera set up with no forewarning to what it actually does or does not do. It's fecking hard enough trying to navigate that town watching for wayward students, mental cases, traffic lights speed cameras stupid info signs with check your fuel on them prams over hanging pavements and the odd stray dug ... wait i am missing something in all this ... Oh aye BURDS !!! without secret spy cams parped into the mix too !!!

Is it not the new bus lane cameras?

Driving in bus lanes has been decriminalised so the council can now fine you instead of points on the licence

Stuball your a fuckin leg-end ... no thats a typo i meant your a twat....
But as per usual your right on the money ... well in it does sit nicely on the bus lane and will need to be a little more careful where the bahookie of the vehicle is .... Just seemed to be in a ring round the city centre and out west so that would make perfect sense. This week it goes live is it ?
AlanM

23nd April for the fines - they will send an advisory notice until then.

There is one on the section of Great Western Rd between Gartnavel and Cleveden Rd (near the end of the bus lane to catch you out if you switch lane early when turning left)

An interesting ponderable:

If I pay for a repair to an electronic item that requires purchase of replacement parts and said repair is guaranteed for six months .. if the replacement part (which presumably has a 12 month warranty under statuatory rights) fails after six months (but before 12) should any subsequent repair charge for labour only?
