Skye

Hired a motorhome and headed to Skye for a week at the end of April.
Hadn't been in Skye for about 40 years so it was good to see it again and actually appreciate the scenery.
Fantastic place to visit and the dog enjoyed it too.

I believe the first scenes (especially the aerial footage for the opening titles) for Ridley Scott`s Prometheus crap where filmed on Skye.   Some of your pictures, shot 3 (the waterfall) and shot 9 (the barren landscape), look very familar...

Wow.
Magical Photos there. Never been. I think I need to now...

Everyone should visit Skye... Its a magical place and even more accessible since the bridge went in. Off up there this weekend I think if Erin is of a mind to do it.

Here`s a link to the Skye location filming for Ridley Scott`s mediocre Alien prequel "Prometheus".

Yeah, the opening scenes of Prometheus were filmed at Stor and the Quirang,

We were there last summer and the waterfall at Kilt Rock was barely a trickle as it hadn't rained for ages
