My first beach holiday abroad that changed my life ... result was me ending up in Glasgow. Old Scans from 1998 - Crete - went there on my own and had a ball
Loved squinty photos in those days. And perixide, obviously.
The guy in the blue shirt owned the apartments and his task was to keep me away from having drunk midnight swimming pool contact. The guy in the front dived for sponges for a living and gave me that one on the table as a present while it was still wet. Got many job offers while I was there but already knew I'd move to Glasgow, because it sounded like it would be home. And it still is, almost ten years later ......

Lol from Crete to Glesga
Yup thats the way most people do it lol
Squinty photos are on the way back it would seem. Went to get some portraits done of the kids and the guy tried to convince me i wanted them at a 25 degree angle.
I said they are soon to be teenagers and that angle will soon be the norm for them so i want the portraits straight.
He huffed n puffed till i asked if his tripod had a shorter leg on one side... this caused a smile.

It looks like an Ikea showcase. It certainly puts our grimy trains to shame.

Oooh, we were even allowed to smoke on the platform while waiting for the train
But not allowed to throw bottles out the window for some odd reason, very selective rules they have over there:
But oh so many dead bodies hanging around.
Kind of strange seeing Jesus on the cross at every corner, after having lived in Glasgow for so long.

I was three times the height of everyone else so going out to get drunk got very expensive.
