Great collection of photos, Doorstop !  Wouldn't be in the least surprised if that Betting Shop was the one on the corner of Carrick Street and Crimea Street in Anderston.  My Dad said they all looked the same.  If the pics are 1960 though, i remember Boots' Chemist already being on the corner that you mentioned !

loved the bookies photo.one year later they legalized betting shops quoting the famous wm hill line...........they have given us a license to print money.so true.
