Agreed. It doesn't take much effort to view the forum, but it does to take a photo/scan in, upload it, fill in the gaps and share the results. Everyone on here deserves plaudits for the wonderful collections of photos and memories that people can view at their leisure.

Thank you

Better late than never

Thanks Mani and very sorry for taking so long to post my thanks.

It is really nice when someone goes to the bother of commenting on how they appreciate the many wonderful photos and also the memories that are often posted too.

I can't remember who it was who recently said that they were totally surprised to find this site and discover that there were many people just like them who had a passion for this great city and love taking photos of every part of it.

This site has provided me with 6 wonderful years of enjoyment, friendship and encouragement. I have gotten to know much more about this city than I ever hoped to know. I have made friends with people I may never have gotten to know if it hadn't been for this site. Although I am not a great photographer I have been encouraged to become better than I was before.

A Big THANK YOU to everyone thorughout these past six years who have contributed in whichever way they felt comfortable with.
TT

I can only add my appreciation to the comments already made.  All of the photos I've looked at so far have been interesting, but the "Past and Present" series bring the memories flooding back.  Wonderful stuff.
