The International Space Station...

any of youse into space and all that ?

I have spotted this space station 2 nights in a row now. Quite impressive.

Still not seen a meteor or 'shooting star' since 1986 though....

It comes around about every 90 minutes David, you will be able to spot shooting stars quite regularly if you watch the sky long enough.

Even easier if you have a smartphone as there are many skywatcher apps and the Spacestation can be tracked across the sky... See it almost every clear night near Lockerbie

What does the Space Station look like from Earth?

Like a fast moving large star unless you have a telescope or decent binos.

If theres clear skies this weekend get out of the city and you might see some of the Perseid's Meteor Shower.
