Great analysis of the current hysteria surrounding photoraphy and security by the cleverest guy in the business.

That was an interesting read

It's only a matter of time before there's a camera amnesty and if you want to purchase or own a camera you'll have to register it and buy an annual licence that you must have on you at all times and the retailler will be obliged to take your details similar to buying a TV

Are they not already doing this...
Have you tried to purchase anything lately.
Even paying cash they want your name, address, postcode, sexual preference...
Last one i made up lol ...

They already know that from late night surfing habits...

I am not paranoid  Just because i cant see them does not mean they are not there ....

Tell you what though, any dealings I've had with the polis whillst out out on my photographic jaunts have always been a very pleasant experience, I guess it's all down to attitude and banter.

Had a couple of run ins ... The Parkhead one left me with a foul taste as i had my stuff confiscated after watching a mild mannered junkie lose seven shades at the hands of the guardians of the law....

Couple of other run ins but it was more to do with the place than what i was doing... And it was friendly enough.... Pity though cos i really wanted to show you all Mr Broons house...
Though to be fair i suppose creeping around in the dark at 2 am near an ex military base with a camera would come across as suspicious.

They have a job to do and whilst it may interfere with what we want to do I don't want it to stop as harrasment might actually be the break thru that catches Mustapha Bom and his pals ...
