Spot on mate
Lone Groover

Just to be clear, the first generation of Action Men had moulded hair and no silly eagle eyes.  Mine had a frogmans outfit !

Meanwhile, this chap woke up lost after losing his temper.....

Don't you just love the new range of Action Men: UK Forces.

I like the models but the 'bad guys' are generic white characters .... lol.

Probably same reason why you can't make a decent James Bond in this post-Cold War era in case you upset the PC Brigade.
cybers

Think the new UK Forces one is GI Joe with a different head cheap american style tat. Pity as original action man was bloody well made. i remember the abuse mines had as a kid and his failed 2 bangers defusal. He survived but my maw went spare as we did it in the back of the close just as she came out the door.
Doorstop

My brother left a talking Action Man speaking like a drunken Stephen Hawking via the unsuccessful attempt at usage of a home made parachute.
Gareth1974

James May proved conclusively that the Action Man paratrooper's chute would open from 200ft and would fall 'safely' to the ground.  This of course if he lands on soft grass.

Only problem is that all my experiments with him were from one of the rubbish chutes openings in the multi-stories (before they were closed-off with grilles) in Prospecthill and onto hard tarmac below!

Don't know if this is the right place for these but they are kind of toys....Ish.
