Sorry for the delay Fjord as I have only just picked up on your question.
Langlands Path is being developed walking and cycling route from Elder Park to Govan town centre. Something of this sort, I believe, has long-existed but along with the wholesale deterioration of the neighbourhood, it has been all but lost. Some re-routing as well as landscaping and some re-paving are proposed.
Given the unpromising urban terrain, the effectiveness of community engagement and commitment will be the critical factor - as is so often the case.
