York Street

They seem to be developing part of York Street where the car park is and they have exposed the old wall of what was, presumably, an old warehouse of some description.  Previously this wall had been completely covered by temporary board.  Not clear whether the "development" will result in this wall disappearing in the near future.


See that white thing in the background that was the front of that rear wall  

It was the old Tobacco warehouse. Its nice to see it exposed but I doubt it will be in keeping with the new hotel.

I was trying to find an older picture of the street, but there's a surprising lack of photos.  

This says the building here is 23 York Street. Not entirely convinced this is what is now the car park - the main door doesn't look right. Forum Index -> Glasgow Development & Demolition
