Your Calendar

I think this was done in a similar way last year but hopefully everyone who regularly contributes photos will be happy to post twelve of their photos here in the order they would select for a calendar. Even if you are not a regular contributor maybe you would be willing to give it a go too. But no pressure.

Although the year has started don't worry there is still plenty of time to make up yer own calendar. So no excuses.

It is up to you how you select your photos but it would be great if each one was taken in the same month. Hopefully, like me, you will have at least one photo for each month last year.

I have started to review my photos and will post my selection soon

Get looking through all those great photos and post your calendar selection here please.

Dont talk sh!te... Its 1 shot you judge to be the best you took that month. My month was cut short hence the last photo. So get your finger oot instead of just saying "nice photos"... "Great photos I like them" etc

Its not a measure of the who, what, why and when its just the mere fact you bothered to take photos 12 months of the year.
norrie

Hi Cybers, suitably chastened and encouraged at the same time, I will look out 12 from my collection

You of all people though with your almost daily contributions should neither need Chatised or kicked in the erse as a giddy up.
I am sure Ally Is working out his calender as will be Alex and that ugly fecker Fastnet when he gets finished playing Santa the morra.

I like this thread as it usually stirs a memory of a photo that was posted through the year that I enjoyed seeing and I enjoy seeing them all BTW  from Phone to top end Dslr.

It also opens up the possibility that we may see something not previously posted a wee hidden gem so to speak.
norrie

Hi Cybers, I have picked 12 from various walk I have done, most of the photos were taken on the month required, some of them I wanted to post because I liked them
Hope to get them loaded later

Oh what an awesome Idea lets just detract from the subject totally. After all this years calender should include the last 10 years of photos.

Since I only joined the forum this year I haven't previously had the chance to post in this thread so I decided that I would do a compilation for everyone to enjoy. I have already posted one for this year, which fulfills the thread criteria. I'm sorry you find a problem with this Davie - Merry Xmas

Hi mate, lost everything on my old laptop but luckily enough I had my family photo's on my portable hard drive   substituted Sep with another Aug pic, but now regret doing this as it's now not a proper calendar.
cybers

Those portable hard drives are a godsend as is Dropbox Ben.
The family stuff I usually back up to disk and file it in a CD folder as a failsafe though some of the discs from 2001 have started to split.
cybers

Marblez wrote:

So basically you are re-writing the criteria to suit yourself
No problem with that whatsoever ... Why even bother having threads ?
Marblez

In that case you might as well delete everything beyond your own calendar as it is the only one to meet the criteria
cybers

You mean your first one never either ? I have absolutely no issue with missing months because of hardware failures or illness or the fact maybe you just never took a shot that month. By all mean substitute it with another close to the missing month. Don't trawl back 10 years for a 2013 issue then assume your doing us a favour.

The criteria was pretty straight forward as it has always been but again it seems it does not apply to everyome. It was not meant as some sort of power dig just trying to stop duplication and detraction on threads that are pretty specific to content. Just to clarify on your point about mines being the only one to meet criteria... I think if you took the time to read it its pretty straight forward.
