Totally agree Cybers and I am totally amazed at the brilliant affects that are now being used to manipulate photos.

They are all great and I am just so pleased that there is even room for my plain photos too

look forward to seeing more great photos. I always like to recommend this site to people who like looking at photos and taking photos because the quality here never lets you down

You do yourself a disservice at times  
All photographs are records of what we saw when we saw it. Some push it a little further and i sometimes wonder how some of the so called Great Photographers of our time would fair in this day and age.

Truth be told they would probably never get out of the water judging just by some of the stuff that pops up on flickr. Some guys are doing magical stuff with the cheapest of cameras whilst others have all the gear but no idea. I just sometimes have too much time on my hands.

Talking of having all the gear...bought myself a new Nikon D800 and all the lenses....total fortune but hey...long time in the grave boys...anyway the high ISO rating is amazing ,you can take fast pics in ultra low light
