It's fascinating to see the how many skills and trades were involved in the workshops.
 
This photo illustrates the scale of the railway industry sadly it's mostly Tesco town up there these days.

out of interest, where did you aquire these from?

I'm often looking for railway images (negs and slides) for sale........it'd be interesting if there was another avenue I could explore..............if you pardon the punn............

I got the scans from a guy I work with in the railway industry who started his career at Glasgow Works.
