Got to love how the buses are always a little behind on their routes. The M3 used to plough through the empty streets of possil for months after the houses were knocked down... made it a prime target for getting bricked

A couple of the filter beds have recently had their gravel removed...for what reason I don't know.

Wonderful Photos Alex
Those 2 plinths  originally held gates on the Parkhouse Rd
roughly in line with the middle of the 2 bricked up windows,
The window on the right was the milking byre, left was the dairy room far left was a milk storage room.
This is looking far better than when i last saw the place.
The stables for the farm were further down the road  in line with the new roundabout.
You can still see the road & rough ground of thier site on google maps. Parkmanor Ave cuts through it.
The Red House is the nursing home.

Hi Alex
This is the rear of the photos you took.
From left to right The byre (wall)
The dairy- the milk house.
Hopefully it has also been tidied up a bit since this photo was taken.

They photos were taken about a year ago Jock. I didn't like to venture round the back.

I didn't know this was a farm. It just looks like a house but never really paid that much attention to it.

Thanks for this info Jock. I will need to look out for it in old maps of the area.

Don't think you will be able to remember any of it Kev but give it a try and let us know where you get lost

Will give you directions to the most interesting place for some photos if you don't manage to find the place where you were taken on that drunken night all those years ago
