The Royal Infirmary later took it over and built the plain northern extension, which has now been replaced by a multi-storey car park, though the original building is still there. July 1973

Good question, I've no idea. I remember it well and, in fact, it could've
remained exactly where it was as there's nothing preventing that. I assume
it was moved prior to the decision to abandon the eastern flank of the M8
Ring Road.

Still the King at past present James

Cybers I think that drining well is not far from its original location I think I took some photos of it a couple of years ago.

Think it is Cathedral Street but may be slightly out on that

So it is. The amount of times I've walked past it as well.

I have been over and over these photos many times, but I have never quite been able to picture the settings as they are today. All credit to Streapadair and James, made my night
