I think they were issued with their first pension payment along with those pale blue plastic raincoats that grannies used to wear.
You would see a big crowd of them fighting to get on the bus before their penny concession ticket stopped at 4 o'clock.

We've got a pulley in the kitchen.  Great for drying the washing.
