Cybers, the school is being used a a training facility for the building trade.
That wont last forever as there are plans for housing on the Stirlingfauld and Norfolk Court sites .
From what I can remember the school will be demolished and the area made into gardens.
I am hearing now, the building work in that area is on hold because of this credit crunch, plus, throw this into the pot, another set of High rise flats that had at least 10 years life left in them, may well have to be brought down sooner rather than later.
Who knows when a brick will be laid for Social Rented Housing and Private Housing.
Bye for now, norrie

Hi folk, I took these photos today.
I reckon it will be a couple of weeks before the site is cleared.

I passed it today sans camera unfortunately and the original facade has now been exposed revealing the soot blackened stonework. I don't suppose anyone on here managed a pic of it?

Did anyone manage to get a photo of the frontage with the corrugated iron taken off, but when there was more left to see of the upper portion than this morning?

The whole frontage was still intact around 9pm lastnight with the large stone carved Coliseum similar to the one that adorned the side of the building it was rather impressive. They must have demolished it first thing this morning before Marti got there. Glad I got a brief look at it while it lasted.
