Hi daviethistle, I am not sure when the low level railway was closed but I reckon they demolished the station at Glasgow Cross because they thought the line would never reopen, how wrong they were
I was working a joiner  1974, in a shop the corner of Chisolm st and Trongate, in the basement, we pulled walls  down and panels back and were able to see into the old line, I am still not sure how we managed that

Bye for now, norrie
