italian pow camp was situated at patterton across from deaconsbank golf course and constable hart quarry i lived in the railway cottages on capelrig road

I don`t think that`s the same place Stu as Barrhead Dams has numerous waterfalls and that one doesn`t look right.

Hi All
If thats at the far south end of the Ryatlinn I think that is the same place

Though the channel has been widened and its taken from the opposite bank.

That would be Aurs road at the top of the photo and the service road halfway up.

Yes Jock I thought about that, but they would need too have removed a lot of rock for Stu`s pic to fit.

The lower retaining walls have been rebuilt but it's the same place. You can see the upper road and almost the same cut of rock. Mine was jst taken from the other side of the bridge
