Watt St, west side south of Paisley Rd. The name on the tenement wall says ’Wallace Grove’ but I’m not aware that Watt St was ever known as this, though the first turning on the right was Wallace Grove Place, where there was a primary school.   April 1974

Paisley Rd, north side from Admiral St. Fergie’s was an early business venture by the future Sir Alex, who was then with Ayr Utd and in the last weeks of his playing career.    April 1974

Edwin St, east side, Cessnock Parish Church. The rear of Lambhill St School (which is still there though no longer a school) can be seen on the right, and on the left a window and the de-slated roof of Plantation UF Church in Cornwall St.    July 1975
