Thanks for bringing these photos to us Mustang. Great collection.

Growing up in the 60's up at Cowcaddens wasn't that pleasant. We moved out to Ruchazie where the air was cleaner and the environment a lot safer in 1967. We lived in what was classified as a slum which was demolished not that long after we moved. nothing was built there for may years. Should the building have been retained? I am not sure. But we did enjoy moving out to what was for us the country before that area became a slum.

Flash,Mustang, Excellent sets there  

From the photos,it appears that the corpy bus livery changed in 1975 and its clear that it suited the modern buses better than old Leyland Titans.
A mate once commented that it "looks like a Celtic scarf on wheels".

Many thanks for your comments,your absolutely right Stuball it is cadogan street,I went one too many streets down towards the clyde,holm street is the next one down from cadogan Street,my sincere apologies.I hope I got the rest of streets correct.Cheers Mustang.

Hello Norrie,I think your correct it looks like the exit from Anderston bus station,so before it was built Blythswood Street would have ran down to Argyle Street.Cheers Mustang
