The Govan (1970's) one with only a couple of tenemants standing in a wasteground looks like Plantation .. it actually looks like it may have been the street my old Grannie used to live on.
Fantastic stuff yet again Mustang .. absolutely superb.
Note to Mods: I think we should keep this bloke - someone send him some Greggs sausage rolls or something, keep him sweet. _________________ *If you're not on the list .. you're not gettin' in*

The back courts in that first photo look really clean and tidy, was it a "posh" area
Liked the photo of Sword Street, I live on the Gallowgate between Sword Street and Bellgrove. Do you know roughly where in Sword Street the photo would have been taken (just trying to get my bearings ) _________________ life's too short
Hi gallowgategal, posh back??? I think the street is Waddell st/ Rutherglen rd, the backs looks as if they are part of the school that was on Rutherglen rd

Hello gallowgategal, this is a tough one because this area has changed so much since 1969.In the background of the picture you can see the two tower blocks at whitevale and bluevale streets,so a guess would be the photo was taken where Sword Street meets Brandon Street/Comelypark Street possibly.
Cheers Mustang!
