Hi Mustang, I think photo taken from Annfield st, I'm sure Annfield st was "L" shaped and ran from the Gallowgate on to Sword st. Brandon st ran from Annfield st to Bellgrove st.

The pic of Sheilds Jcn could be 1979,for I'm sure thats the Cl303 unit that was involved in the Gilmour St crash.Got the DOT accident report.

Hello Doog Doog,your knowledge on all things about local trains is spot on as usual.I found another picture from this tragic incident dated easter holiday special 1979.From looking at the first picture and then the second one,it does look like the same train.

Hi Guys this is my first post... Flash put me onto this forum and what a forum... (Thanks Flash)I have just spent the last hour going through all the picts... (Phew)! They are fabulous...
