nice wee site dedicated to the history of what is now strathclyde park, some good links to other lost communities as well.

always found this fascinating that a wee place could just vanish for a country park and man-made loch

theres an interesting wee trail around strathclyde park with some of the remains of bothwellhaugh. The park rangers are very knowledgable and will give you some tips on things to find. better discovering them for yourself rather than asking exactly where they are, coz it gives you that "wow" feeling!

apparantly there still foundations under the loch, but it could be one of those myths that have grown over the years.
