Doog Doog my good lady phoned me the other day as she got out  the car up at our bit (Westwood E.K) telling me there was a strange bird with a big long beak lying in the snow.By the time i got me and camera down one of the bloody neighbours drove by and it bolted.Hadn't a clue what it was.Checked out a woodcock on tinterweb and Mags thinks thats the exact type of bird.
Hope you can get a pic of it
