The police have vowed to track down the rubberneckers slowing down in the opposite carriageway to take photos... probably charge them for driving with due care and attention
Alot of people think this is just mean and the police try to save some face after looking like idiots chasing after chickens.... but personally, I am with the cops on this one after a rubbernecking experience that forced me into an emergency stop from 70mph to zero (I had to put a foot down on the tarmac... thats bad) on a motorway because the driver infront of me wanted a nosey at a crash.... she got an earful of my horn and the police shouting at her. This was on lane 3 of a busy stretch of motorway and put me in serious risk of being smashed from behind (which I've experienced twice already)
Anyway... rubbernecking... NOOOO
