The cinema occupied the corner where Poundland now is .... I always think of St Andrew's House as the high-rise block which is now the Premier Inn .... and THAT is on West Nile St !

The Royalty Theatre, Glasgow (later the Lyric Theatre) was a theatre in Glasgow at the corner of Sauchiehall Street and Renfield Street ... replaced by St. Andrew House, a large concrete office block, which is now a hotel.

St Andrews House is where the low building at the end of the block in the top pic is (next to the spire) at the RIGHT hand side of the pic .... so THEY CANNOT have been on the same corner !!!
