yup..that's it.. wee edit they always stuck the wafer in the ice cream with one corner so it would stick up. btw thought the post was a wee joke and everybody new what it was

Was in an Italian Restaurant in downtown Bridge of Weir and when it came to the sweets I said to the Italian waiter, "I'd like a McCallum" he said "O.K.". I said "Do you know what a McCallum is"? He said, "Yes".
My son-in-law said, "He thinks you want a McCallan whisky". I looked and he was at the whiskies, I had to go over and explain what a McCallum was. Nearly an expensive McCallum.

Adam McNaughton was a great english teacher at Cathkin High school in the early eighties, a complete gentleman.
