Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this..
My brother in law buys and sell antiques and is always coming up with old books from the late 18th century about Glasgow.
He recently bought an old trunk and found this in the bottom of it.



Its really old and yellowed and is about 500mm x 300 mm (20"x12")

I could be way out but is that maybe The Great Exhibition from the early 1900's ?

That looks spot on troops....never even knew about that exhibition...
He gave me this old book which was published in 1880..if its interesting i will offer it round.
Have asked him to keep his eyes out for any old photos as a lot of the stuff he gets comes as job lots

There are some pictures of The Great Exhibition in one of the corridors at my work, I'll see if I can take pics of them tomorrow.  

That looks like a really interesting book Kev!
