Jeez I never knew there was a morgue... I walked all over the site taking paperwork up to the offices too... I remember a girl falling off the wee train and breaking her arm... but what a fantastic six months for both workers and visitors.. I did the adverts for the Creche.. what a fantastic job , and what a lovely summer ..

Thread from the dead time.

Been going through some old VHS cassettes and found the full BBC program from the royal opening.

Brilliant Chas.. wish Id have taken more photos... and the ones I did take are missing... I remember out watching Dirty Den doing a scene for a TV show..just outside our Creche... then Charles and Diana visiting.. I even got to talk to Maggie Thatcher... poor me.... does anyone remember the horrible accident on the last night of the festival. when the man doing the fireworks had his leg blown off.....

Funny how the mind plays tricks, I always through that the fireworks accident was at Glasgow Green in one of the November displays.

Anyway, here's the Times from the day after.

Bit of a random post this, just watching BBC 4 and they've announced there is an episode of Taggart coming on set during the Glasgow Garden Festival.... but I missed when exactly its on

but anyway, it exists
Taggart fans are probably already well aware, but I thought it might be of interest anyway :)
