That may well be Norrie but is it corrosion proof?

Probably not as its Chinese cabling and is probably not even bridge proofed.

Must have just missed you as my mobile billet was parked in Glen Etive on the 18th and the bottom end of Glencoe on the 17th.

I travelled the entire coastal route and never saw the sun once except in the bloody paper shop

Ballachulish hotel Sun/Mon  and the weather was terrible, wee drive in to Oban and it was like monsoon season, snow on mountains Tuesday but took some pic's because morning was bright with some lovely reflections. I was going to do yon glen Etive drive but decided on slow drive home with plenty of stops.  BTW have you any idea where that Ralston home coming cross is, looked for that early on in the year but never found it walked for pucking miles

Ralston's Cairn is approx where you come past the Meeting of the three waters falls as you enter the glen... Follow the road around for another 3 or four hundred yards you will see the blocked off car park about half a mile to Beastly Cottage to your right go up through there following the well trodden path and its a wee bit further up than you would expect on your left.

I stumbled upon it in the early 2000's and could find bugger all about it online. It's only recently it has made it back onto the web that I considered dying to go get a photo.
