They have just posted this on twitter which sounds promising.

They should host regular tours for a few months. Think of the mon£y they could make!

I think they "so called in the know" should learn a valuable lesson here , in that they should do a hell of a lot of proper research when they start to consider allowing the gen public even a sniff of what has for a long time been out of the public domain, or not ever been seen.
Then they would have been well prepared for the seismic interest that's been shown in visiting what WE have never been allowed to see.

Just the Central ones - there was only a handful of places left and they went in seconds.

Managed to get the Athletes Village though so not a totally wasted morning

Managed to get tickets for the Gallowgate Twins, and the Glasgow Canal water taxi, which is nice.

Would really have liked Glasgow Central, but same as Marti I was on at 10am on the dot and got the "all bookings are now closed" as well. Hopefully they have now realised exactly how high the interest is, they'll maybe look to opening tours throughout the year - we'll have to pay for it though I bet!!

I'd also happily pay for the Central Station Tour. I'm disappointed like a lot of people are that I didn't get tickets and I can understand they didn't anticipate such a high demand for tickets but some people's reactions on their Facebook page are pretty bad. They seem to have an expectation to be entitled to a ticket regardless. One guys even moaning that other people won't appreciate it like he would and that he should have a ticket ahead of them. Sounds childish and ridiculous if you ask me.

That certainly does sound ridiculous! I would happily pay as well, it would be well worth it.

I also failed to get tickets to the one thing I really wanted, Glasgow Central.
I'm disappointed, but as many have said on here, perhaps they will realise that there's huge demand for this.
Hopefully they will introduce paid tours in the future.

On a positive note, I did manage to get BBC tour tickets as well as the High Court.
