I tried taking a couple of photos from the car later this afternoon but forgot to turn off the flash so they aren't usable. |
Don't dismiss them quite yet alex.... I'm sure some of us could try recovering them using the photoshop CS3 image adjustments _________________ Now coming at you with 95% more significance, 1% less salt and virtually fat free!

I did tell you they were rubbish Stu. It was raining and I was in the car with my wife driving and she even slowed down for me to take a couple of shots but we were in a bit if a rush so that we were not holding up any traffic.
Have a go if you think you can do anything with them.
I will get better shots throughout the demolition.
I forgot to say to Neil - the photographer my have been working for the demolition company to document the work. _________________ I had a dream today

I'll give them a shot later when I'm home... you'd be surprised at what photoshop can clean up _________________ Now coming at you with 95% more significance, 1% less salt and virtually fat free!

Well Done Stu
A lot better than the originals.
Unfortunately the rain was driving into the lens.
I got another couple which I will post up later which were taken in better light and no rain. _________________ I had a dream today

The Levern Hotel is no more.
The building was finally demolished on Wednesday and they have just got the site to clear now.
Here are some photos taken over the last week. Sorry about the quality of some of them.

| I'll try to get some 'aerial' shots of the cleared site from my mother's flat over the weekend. |

Great photos Neil.
It is great to see the site from such a good angle. The first one clearly shows how imposing this building was and now that its gone I think more people will be aware that there are shops at that end of the precinct. _________________ I had a dream today
