I noticed a photo of a bottle on ebay. that said..Bailey Clark Aerated water Duncan st. Bridgeton.. I didnt know where it was so looked it up and its been changed to Anson st next to Landressy st at the Cross..

I think that a lot of these street name changes were made when independent burghs like Govan and Partick were swallowed up by Glasgow and the Corporation did not want duplicate street names in their newly enlarged city.
However, it did not always apply, for instance, there are Gibson Streets in both the East and West Ends.

Hi, I'm trying to work out what this street name was, the curly writing really doesn't help I am presuming that it was in the Marhill area & probably isn't there anymore.

It looks like Carnarvon St., just off St. George's Road, to me. It's not far from Maryhill and is definitely still there, not too badly vandalised by the town planners.
