Hi All,

Back in the mid 70s I photo recorded as much as I could about the Glasgow Subway. Little did I realise that I would return as part of a consultancy team seeing some of the modernisation works and now whenever I return to Glasgow I still manage to get a few photos in.

My last visit here was on Sunday 30/08/15 whilst on a British Isles cruise on board 'Royal Princess'. So here goes:

Bridge Street 1976, 1978. 2012 and 2015:

West Street: 1977, 2012

Scotland Street Cable Power House 1977, 2015:

Shields Road 1976, 2015:

Cessnock 1975, 1976, 2012:

There's more to follow in a few days!

Thanks,
Dave

Absolutely brilliant, Dave.  What this site is all about.  Looking forward to the rest!

Hi All,

Are there any of those buildings in that photo still standing?  What are the high rise flats at the back? When I first looked I assumed Norfolk Court, but it can't be.
