Barony Church, High Street
Disused Church on Duke Street
St Andrew's Cathedral
Cowcaddens Church
Ramshorn Church
John Street Church

It wasn't that long ago the Glasgow skyline was full of church spires. We're a city of heathens as my granny used to say
It begs the question how many have been demolished in the last 20-30 years?
There's been quite a few converted into flats though. |

With regards to your image below Alex was this a church as i am just a whippersnapper and details are a little sketchy this was once the occupational therapy unit.... Before that and this is where it seems to get a little sketchy it was Sydney Street School. Could be the wrong building entirely and am still waiting on my father bieng well enough to confirm some of the details i thought i had. It has been a building i was fascinated by as a kid and had forgotten about it till i had cause to be diverted that way one night .... Some interesting people round that way lmao.
One i took late at night of the same building.

You may be right Cybers
From the front it looks like a church and I have vague recollection of reading about it recently but may have the wrong building.
Maybe someone will be able to help with more details. _________________ I had a dream today

Is the other place not housed in the business centre that is behind this building.
As for the frontage on Duke street i am sure that was a church though i remember it as a drop in centre for the homeless in the 80's and 90's
Are the fibreglass elephants still across the road... Or have they been nicked. _________________ MY FLICKR

Slightly smaller scale Drumchapel Parish Church.
This was quite badly damaged during the war, the gable wall was blown out.
