That's true LG, but I think Marco might be looking to gain a little advantage from farming his bees and I don't think you can get all that much honey into a matchbox.

Also, the number of bees needed to produce that honey would mean a helluva lot of matchboxes in this world of an ever decreasing number of smokers !

no allotements in my neck of the woods as most have gardens
there uses to be allotments in riddrie does anyone know if they are still there ?
i'd love to do a little photographic project about allotments
does anyone know how i would go about gaining access to a site ?

Think the ones in Riddrie are still there the ones at Colston i made an enquiry about some photo's and got the third degree about why i wanted em before some old guy with a stick i seen digging like a coal miner told me to fluck off  
Seems me and my mate were as bad as the wee Bassas who came and nicked everything and threw stones ...

There are allotments near me in Greenock where the people seem very friendly- I go to their annual sale- though maybe they are only friendly because they want me to buy things- I'm sure they would be happy to let you wander around
