Amazing !
Looking at pictures from 12,000 miles away and I find a larger version of something I've got growing in pots on my front verandah !
Alex, I'm pretty certain that the plant is a Bougainvillea, a native of the Pacfic Region.
I live in a unit, so no garden but I've got fifteen different species of the plant growing in pots around my unit. The florets come in all colours and the plant is in colour for most of the year. Other than Australian Natives and Hibiscus Plants, I consider the Bougainvillea to be one of the world's most beautiful plants.
Thus my surprise to see pictures of same on a Glasgow Forum but I love it !
Regards,
Tombro _________________ Today is the first day of the rest of your life ! |
