Hi dickyhart, I enjoyed that, a great deal has gone since those days, the industry and bings for example, pity there was no sound.
Thanks for posting the clip
Bye for now, norrie

Norrie

I'm afraid i'm an economic exile from the wild west end.

15 years in Cambuslang and never had a pint there yet !

beer at the tennents, fish supper at clarence drive, train at Hyndland and stagger up Greenlees Road ( always avoiding the cows ) - hard to beat it . . .

Hi namestain, I dont drink in the local pubs in Rutherglen but am a member of a club in Melrose av  Rutherglen, so have a pint there more often than not.
Tend to drink more in the house, better, malt whisky,  prices, beer and measures
I have lived in Rutherglen since 1979.

Economic refugee, yes I suppose the prices in the west end can be a WEE bit steep

OK folks - In order to keep the threads manageable for everyone's viewing pleasure
they will be limited to 30 pages max or there about's.

Meanwhile a new Past & Present Pictures Vol.3 has been created as it's always a crowd pleaser.

keep up the great work with your contributions.
