Has there been such little change in the buildings or has someone, over the years, renovated them to maintain their heritage style ?  If so, hearty congratulations, because (unlike the builders of modern glass and metal monstrosities) they have retained the real spirit of Glasgow ! I remember all these old lamp standards ... Ornate as hell i still remember my gran going effin mental when they were removing them in the name of progress... Would have loved to have seen Armadale St before the War office deemed it useful to the war effort and remofed all the Iron Balustrads and fences.
